Why Greene

This is what a paramedic job is supposed to feel like.

The medicine

All 911, no inter-facility transfers. Full ALS scope, ventilators, infusion pumps, and long transports with sick patients. You'll manage them, not just package them.

The autonomy

One paramedic, one truck, your call. Supported by a medical director and captains who want you thinking, and in-house training to keep you sharp.

The place

The Catskills out your windshield. Stations in real communities. A small agency where leadership knows your name and your work.

Chief of Operations Steve Near and the former Chief at the station, training with a Hamilton T1 ventilator and an airway mannequin Chief Near and former Chief at headquarters, working through a Hamilton T1 scenario. Training here is in-house, hands-on, and led by people who still run calls.

Beyond the truck

Rescue Paramedic is an option here, not a requirement.

Members of our team train and deploy with the Twin Cloves Technical Rescue Team — rope, high-angle, swift-water and backcountry — because in the Catskills the patient is sometimes at the bottom of a cliff. It's not for everyone, and it doesn't have to be. If it's the kind of medic you want to be, we'll get you there.
